(Oral) Present C482 application has been filed by the applicants along with the compounding application (IA/3/2024) for quashing the charge- sheet dated 12.08.2023, summoning order dated 25.09.2023 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun in Criminal Case No.5888 of 2023 State Vs. Manoj Goyal and Others, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 504 & 506 IPC and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and the entire proceedings of aforementioned criminal case, on the basis of a compromise entered into between the parties. 2. A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 04.12.2024 directed the parties to the proceedings to appear before the District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun on 11.12.2024 at 11:30 AM, who, in turn, was directed to record the statements of parties and verify the contents of the affidavits filed along with the compounding application. 2025:UHC:1462 2 3. The compliance report of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun dated 11.12.2024 is available on record. 4. From perusal of the compliance report, it is evidently clear that both the parties have entered into compromise and there is no dispute pending between them as they have settled their disputes amicably. Parties were also duly identified before the said authority. 5. In this view of the matter, Compounding Application (IA/3/2024) is allowed. As a result, entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.5888 of 2023 State Vs. Manoj Goyal and Others, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 504 & 506 IPC and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, are hereby quashed. Consequently, the charge-sheet dated 12.08.2023 and FIR No.103 of 2023 dated 15.03.2023, also stand quashed. 6. C482 application stands disposed of accordingly. 7.
