Initiation of contempt proceedings is sought in this petition for willful disobedience of order dated 11.07.2024 passed by this Court in writ petition bearing WP(C) No. 1504/2024, whereby respondents were directed to treat the writ petition as representation on behalf of petitioner and to accord consideration to the claim of petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of three weeks strictly in conformity with the rules and as per law and also in the light of communication dated 4th April 2024 addressed by the Zonal Education Officer, Kupwara, to the Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, wherein objections raised against the candidature of the petitioner was rejected and the case of petitioner was recommended for necessary approval and for issuance of engagement order. 2. Respondents have filed statement of facts. Copy whereof shall be furnished to counsel for petitioner along with consideration order. 3. Respondents in their statement of facts have stated that they have passed a consideration Order No.57-CEOKup of 2024 dated 18.11.2024 in compliance of order dated 11.07.2024 passed by this Court, wherein it is mentioned that the respondents have considered the case of petitioner and found it devoid of any merit and, accordingly, rejected the same. 4. Since the respondents have accorded consideration to the claim of the petitioner and rejected the same, therefore, the proceedings in this petition are dropped and contempt petition is closed. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the consideration order by availing a remedy as may be available to him under law, if he chooses so.
