By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful marital life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions received, apprised the Court that online application which has been applied for registration of marriage by the petitioners, the same has already been cancelled and as such no cause of action survives for pressing the instant petition for seeking police protection. 4.
