WA NO. 1960 OF 2024 3 2025:KER:29873 JUDGMENT Dr. A.K.Jayasankaran Nambiar, J.
Pursuant to our last order dated 18.03.2025, the appellant and additional 6th respondent are before us today, along with the learned counsel for the additional 5th respondent and the learned Government Pleader representing respondents 1 to 4. When the matter was taken up, the appellant handed over a Demand Draft for an amount that represents the share of the 5th and 6th respondents in the value of the five motor vehicles (three stage carriages + one motor cycle + one Santro car -light motor vehicle) that the appellant seeks to transfer in his name.
Taking note of this development and finding that as of now, the 5 th and 6th respondents have no objection to the transfer of the registration of the aforesaid vehicles in the name of the appellant, we dispose this Writ Appeal by recording the factum of payment as above and directing the competent among respondents 1 to 4 to forthwith transfer the registration of the vehicles in the name of the appellant if there are no other legal impediments to the same. By way of abundant caution, we make it clear that in the light of the settlement effected before us, the respondents shall not insist on any No Objection Certificate from the 5th and 6th respondents as a condition for transfer of the registration of the above vehicles in the name of the appellant. The formalities in this regard shall be completed by the respondents within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Sd/- DR. A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR JUDGE Sd/- EASWARAN S.
