Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:56805 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 560 of 2025 Petitioner :- Vinit Kumar Respondent :- Union Of India Through General Manager, Railways Recruitment Board Ministry Of Railways Government Of India New Delhi And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Deshraj Singh,Prashant Singh Counsel for Respondent :- A.S.G.I.,Piyush Tripathi Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J.
1. Heard learned counsel for parties.
2. While entertaining this petition on 13.02.2025 learned counsel appearing for respondents was directed to obtain instructions. The
order dated 13.02.2025 is reproduced hereunder:
"Petitioner wants one more opportunity for verification of document and medical fitness. He states that he has no knowledge of the previous dates which were fixed for verification of document and medical fitness. Shri Piyush Tripathi, learned Advocate appearing for respondent No.1 shall have instructions in the matter. Put up as fresh on 03.03.2025 before appropriate Bench."
3. Instructions have been obtained and placed before the Court by Shri Piyush Tripathi, learned counsel appearing for respondent which is taken on record and a copy whereof is also supplied to
learned counsel for petitioner.
4. From the instructions it is reflected that every information was required to be given to the candidates through the official website and thus, according to respondents the dates for the purposes of holding Physical Standard Test were also communicated to the candidates through official websites. No individual notice or intimation was required to be given as per the rules. It is also submitted that the applications were also invited online.
5. In such above view of the matter when the respondents have adopted a mode of communication through official website, I do not see any justification in the contention advanced by learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner was not individually informed/ intimated about the dates.
6. In view of the above, I do not see any force in the petition.
7. The petition fails and is accordingly dismissed.
