The matter is taken up in National Lok Adalat.
Mr. Nikhil Ranjan, learned counsel for the appellants/claimants and Mr. Ajay Kumar Pathak, learned counsel for M/s United India Insurance Company Limited along with Mrs. Poonam Tete, Deputy Manager, M/s United India Insurance Company Limited are present and both the sides stated before the Bench that matter has been amicably settled between the parties.
It has been agreed between the parties that apart from the awarded amount along with the interest i.e., Rs. 5,21,292/- which has already been received by claimants, Insurance Company has agreed to pay further Rs. 2,75,000/- (Rupees two lac and seventy five thousand) as full and final settlement to the claimants. Learned counsel for the appellants/claimants conceded to the amount offered on behalf of the Insurance Company.
Official from Insurance Company has assured the Bench that the above- said amount shall be transferred to the account of learned Tribunal at Bokaro within one month from today.
Needless to say that after proper verification of the claimants, learned Tribunal shall release the above-said amount to the claimants.
