Musahari, learned standing counsel, BTC, for the respondent No. 1 and Ms. U. Das, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, for the respondent Nos. 2 & 3. 2. The petitioners are dealers of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and supplied Diesel/M. Oil and High Speed Diesel (HSD) to the Superintendent of Police, Kokrajhar, Assam during the Lok Sabha Election - 2024, State Assembly Election - 2021 and State Bye Assembly Election - 2021. It is the case of the petitioners that the dues in respect of the Lok Sabha Election - 2024 has been paid to the petitioners. However, the outstanding dues for the State Assembly Election - 2021 and State Bye Assembly Election - 2021 is yet to be paid to the petitioners. The Superintendent of Police, Kokrajhar made a communication to the petitioner No. 1 on 01.10.2024 stating that the liability amount shown in the statement submitted by the petitioners has been compared with the office records and found to be correct. The communication further gave the details of the pending bills at Annexure – A, B & C respectively. It is the case of the petitioners that there is a total amount of Rs.33,10,996/- to be paid to the petitioners till date. 3. Considering the Communication dated 01.10.2024, it appears that the respondents have admitted the liability due to the petitioners. Page No.# 3/3 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3 to have a verification with regard to the outstanding dues in respect of the petitioners and if the outstanding dues are found to be correct and admitted, let such dues be paid to the petitioners within a period of 4 (four) months from the date of receipt of a certified true copy of this order. 5.
