It is the contention of the petitioner that she filed an application in Form-57 on 13.12.2018 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 1 Acre of land in Sy.No.56 of Siruyuru Village, Kasaba Hobli, Bhadravathi Taluk, Shivamogga District and the same is not considered till date. 3. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent-authorities to consider the aforesaid application filed at the hands of the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35953 WP No. 28620 of 2023 4. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.3-Tahsildar is duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before respondent No.4- ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee is also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.3-Tahsildar, Bhadravathi Taluk to place the application of the petitioner before respondent No.4-Committee within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Committee thereafter shall consider the application and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of two months thereafter. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35953 WP No. 28620 of 2023 Ordered accordingly. 6.
