Heard Sri Shiv Shankar Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Rajan Chauhan, holding brief of Sri Azad Rai, learned counsel appearing for the Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed, seeking a direction to respondent No.2/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Phoolpur, District Prayagraj, to decide the Case No.218 of 2016, as Computerized Case No.T202402030207398 filed under Section 24 of the U P Revenue Code, 2006, expeditiously and within a stipulated period. Learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to the order sheet of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition, to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, the matter has been adjourned and the delay in disposal of the case is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State-Respondents has no objection to the prayer made. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court/authority concerned would make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of three months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
