The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners’ representations given at Annexures ‘H’, ‘K’ and ‘M’. It is - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32475 WP No. 21145 of 2025 contended by the petitioner that there are conflicting orders of survey and phodi conducted by the Survey Settlement authorities in the year 2014 and 2022. 3. Learned AGA raises an objection that such a omnibus direction cannot be given to the revenue authorities or the survey settlement authorities. 4. There is substance in the submission of the learned AGA. 5. If the petitioner is aggrieved of any particular action of a particular Officer, the same can be questioned before the Appellate Authority in terms of the provisions of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. That being the position, such an order as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of while reserving liberty to the petitioner to raise a challenge to a particular order if the petitioner is aggrieved, before - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32475 WP No. 21145 of 2025 the Appellate Authority, in terms of the provisions of the Act.
