ARAVIND ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT BANERJI) Learned counsel for the appellant states that the petition under 13(1)(i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act was filed by the husband/respondent, which was allowed by means of the impugned judgment and decree. It is his contention that no permanent alimony has been awarded. 2. He states that the appellant is not aggrieved by the decree of divorce, but only that she has not been accorded any permanent alimony. 3. In this view of the matter, since the right is already available to the wife under Section 25 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, we see no reason to grant the relief claimed in this - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50915-DB MFA No. 1889 of 2019 appeal.
