Mr. Vishal Kumar Nautiyal, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Suyash Pant, Standing Counsel for the State. It is the claim of the petitioner that he had given an application under Section 41 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901 (“the Act”) for demarcation of the property to the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Haridwar, but till date, no action has been taken. The petitioner has given multiple representations as well, but they have yet not been decided. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is claiming demarcation of a property; he has given an application to the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Haridwar, but no action has been taken despite having given multiple representations. Learned State Counsel submits that the application given by the petitioner under Section 41 of the Act, Annexure No.1 to the writ petition, shall be decided shortly within a period of six weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2/ Sub Divisional Magistrate, Haridwar, to decide the application of the petitioner under Section 41 of the Act, Annexure No.1 to the
writ petition, within a period of six weeks from today.
