(Oral) It is the case of the petitioners that they responded the an advertisement dated 14.10.2022 issued by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (“the Commission”) for recruitment to the post of Revenue Sub Inspector. They underwent the recruitment process and selected. They have also undergone for 12 months training, but yet they have not been given appointment. The training had already been completed in the year 2023. Therefore, the petitioners seek direction that the respondents may be directed to appoint the petitioners to the position of Revenue Sub Inspector. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were selected by the recruitment process carried out by the Commission. The entire process has already been completed by year 2023, including one year training of the petitioners, but they have yet not been offered appointment. Therefore, the respondents may be directed to offer them appointment. 2 4. On 16.07.2025, this Court has required learned State counsel to give statement as to why the petitioners are not offered appointment? 5. Today, learned State counsel submits that 7 Revenue Sub Inspector are to be promoted as Revenue Inspector, Hills. The process have already been initiated and it will be completed within 30 days. Once the process is complete for promotion on the position of Revenue Inspector, the petitioners shall be appointed as Revenue Sub Inspector. 6. The written instruction received by the learned State counsel have been tendered for the perusal of the Court. They are taken on record. 7. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State counsel which means that within 30 days, the petitioners shall be offered appointment as Revenue Sub Inspector. 8.
