According to the petitioner, she is exempted from compulsory transfer, as her son is suffering from heart ailment. By means of this writ petition, she has challenged transfer order dated 26.06.2023, whereby she was transferred from Government Girls Inter College, Pantnagar, District Udham Singh Nagar to Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Paligunaditya, District Almora. 4. Since Coordinate Bench had granted interim relief to the petitioner, pursuant to which she is still serving at the original place of her posting and more than two years have gone by since filing of the writ petition, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending. 5. Learned State Counsel opposed the writ petition by contending that after her appointment, petitioner remained posted in sugam places all through her service career 2025:UHC:8993 and her services in sugam places is 24 years; while, she never served in a durgam place, therefore, there is no illegality or infirmity whatsoever in the impugned transfer order. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make representation to the Additional Director, School Education, Kumaon Region. If he makes representation regarding her transfer within two weeks from today, the concerned Additional Director shall take decision thereupon within six weeks thereafter. 7.
