Verma, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for the respondents-State. While placing on record communication dated 13.06.2025, issued under the signatures of Engineer-in-Chief, HPPWD Shimla, learned Additional Advocate General states that in terms of judgment, sought to be complied with, petitioner has been granted work charge status w.e.f. 01.01.2002 on completion of eight years continuous service on notional basis in terms of judgment passed by Hon’ble Apex Court in Surajmani’s case. Careful perusal of aforesaid communication, which is taken on record, clearly reveals factum of compliance as stated by learned Additional Advocate General and as such, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly, the same are closed with a direction to the respondents to ensure that benefit of pay fixation on account of aforesaid compliance, if not already given, shall be given expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks.
