Heard Sri Daya Shankar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Prem Bahadur Singh, learned Advocate holding brief of Sri Rameshwar Prasad Shukla, learned counsel representing the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Commissioner, Azamgarh Mandal, Azamgarh, to decide the Appeal No. 850/A (Computerized Case No. C202515000001430) [Nizamuddin Vs. Aftab Ahmad and Others], under Section 24(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code 2006, expeditiously and within a stipulated period. The petitioner has stated himself to be the respondent in the appeal. Learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to the order sheet of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition, to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, the matter has been adjourned and the delay in disposal of the case is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the court/authority concerned to conclude the proceedings expeditiously and at an early date. Learned counsel for the State-Respondents as well as the counsel for the respondent-Gram Sabha have no objection to the prayer made. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court/authority concerned would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
