The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Simdega P.S. Case No. 04/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 305(a) (e), 306 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega. On 25.12.2024, the petitioner along with co-accused persons took away old generator and a gate from the premises of the Civil Court, Simdega. Later, the stolen article was sold to one Jafar Alam. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2025. It was further submitted that the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. It was finally submitted that co-accused Jafar Alam has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.1341 of 2025. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega in connection with Simdega P.S.
