JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioners seek the following reliefs: " I. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent University Special Summer Term for petitioners. II. Direct the Respondents to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioner's at (Annexure-E), in a reasoned and transparent manner. III. Pass any such other writ, order, or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interests of justice and equity." 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the respondents-University and perused the material on record. 3. A perusal of the material on record will indicate that it is the specific contention of the petitioners that despite submission of repeated representations including representation at Annexure E dated 23.09.2025 by the petitioners as well as National Students' Union of India, the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:40355 WP No. 29915 of 2025 respondents are not permitting the petitioners to take up the examination for Special Summer Term for the year 2025 and as such, the petitioners are before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents has produced the time table for the aforesaid Special Summer Term Make-Up examination in order to contend that the said examination has already been concluded as on 11.10.2025 and as such, nothing further survives in the present petition. Learned counsel for the respondents also submits that petitioner No.5 i.e., Syed Haroon Ahmed has already appeared in the examination that got concluded on 11.10.2025. 5. The memo and time table is placed on record. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the time table for Make-Up examination for Special Summer Term conducted by the respondents-university, which clearly indicates that the same was concluded on 11.10.2025 itself, nothing further survives in the present petition. Liberty is - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:40355 WP No. 29915 of 2025 reserved in favour of the petitioners to take recourse to such remedies as available in law. Further, since the respondents have not responded to the aforesaid representation at Annexure E dated 23.09.2025, the respondents are hereby directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders/take appropriate decision and intimate the same to the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from today.
