Even though the prayer in this petition is to quash the charge sheet in CC No.55068/2020 pending on the file of the Court of XXIX ACJM, Bengaluru, the learned counsel for petitioner would submit that he will restrict his - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:52686 CRL.P No. 15853 of 2025 prayer for a direction to the trial Court for an expeditious disposal of the case. 3. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is aged about 82 years at present and he is in a poor state of health and the matter is pending before the trial Court since 2020. 4. As could be seen from the order sheet, the trial is in progress. Considering that the matter is pending before the trial Court since 2020 and the accused is an aged person, the trial Court shall dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and make an endeavour to conclude the trial within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5. Parties are directed to cooperate for the early disposal.
