UNION TERRITORY THROUGH POLICE STATION SHOPIAN ...Respondent(s) Through: CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE ORDER 29.08.2025 1. The petitioner in the instant petition before maintaining the same for bail in anticipation of his arrest had on the similar grounds earlier sought such bail from the court of Principal Sessions Judge, Shopian, which initially though came to be granted on 31.07.2025 as an interim measure, however, subsequently came to be dismissed on 04.08.2025 after the Public Prosecutor of the said court stated at bar in opposition thereto that there is no case registered as is alleged by the petitioner in Police Station Shopian. 2. Perusal of the order of the Sessions Court dated 31.07.2025 by virtue of which interim bail was granted to the petitioner, the said court in detail had noticed and referred to the grounds on the basis of which the bail had been sought. Under these circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain the instant petition and to exercise the discretion. 4. Resultantly petition fails and is dismissed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to re-agitate the matter in case cause accrues. (JAVED IQBAL WANI) JUDGE SRINAGAR: 29.08.2025 “S.Nuzhat”
