By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial reliefs: "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to promote the petitioner on the next higher post in pursuance to the Government order dated 26.08.2005 as well as promotional list prepared by promotion committee; (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to pay promotional pay scale of Rs.5400/- to the petitioner as given to junior employee of the petitioner along with arrears of salary from the date junior is getting promotional benefits." Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned for consideration of his claim by means of a representation dated 7th March, 2025 which has remained pending till date. Learned Standing counsel has no objection in case if petitioner's representation is directed to be decided by the concerned competent respondent in a time bound period. In view of the above this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to look into and consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in his representation dated 7th March, 2025 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Needless to add, the order to be passed by the respondent concerned as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
