ORAL ORDER Crime No.155/2023 has been registered by respondent no.1- Police based on the complaint lodged by respondent no.2 against the petitioners.
2. Petitioners and respondent no.2 had certain financial transactions which has given rise to the complaint.
3. It is submitted that the matter was referred to Karnataka Mediation Center where the same has been settled and the petitioners have agreed to make payments to respondent no.2 in installments. On the strength of the same, it is prayed that the proceedings against the petitioners be quashed. Whereas respondent no.2 hasten to add that liberty may be reserved for him to revive the case against the petitioners if they commit default in payment of the amount. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits he has no objection for the same.
4. Hence, the following:
ORDER
1. The proceedings in Crime No.155/2023 pending

on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru against the petitioners herein stand quashed, subject to however petitioners paying the amounts to respondent no.2 as agreed in the mediation agreement, failing which respondent no.2 is at liberty to revive the complaint against the petitioners;
2. The criminal petition stands allowed accordingly.
Pending I.As., if any, stand disposed of.
