CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA ORAL ORDER Heard Sri.C.R.Rajagopal, learned counsel for the petitioner. This Court did not deem it fit to issue notice to the respondent.
2. Petition is filed by the wife under Section 24 of CPC seeking following relief:
“Therefore, the petitioner above named humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court be pleased to pass an
order transferring the case in MC No.79/2025 which is now pending on the file of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Doddaballapur, to Family Court Mysore, in the interest of justice.”

Facts in the nutshell which are utmost necessary for disposal of the present petition are as under: On account of strained relationship, husband has filed matrimonial case for restitution of conjugal rights in M.C.No.79/2025 on the file of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC,

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:52463 CP No. 401 of 2025 Doddaballapur; whereas wife has filed petition for grant of maintenance on the file of Family Court, Mysuru.
4. Wife is expressing her inability to attend the Court at Doddaballapur on account of financial incapacity and geographical distance.

Having noted the grounds urged in the petition, this Court is of the considered opinion that geographical distance and financial incapacity expressed by wife are no longer valid parameters to accept her request for transfer the pending proceedings from Court at Doddaballapur to Mysuru in view of the video conferencing facility.
6. However, if the wife files an application seeking permission to appear and effectively participate in the matrimonial proceedings at Doddaballapur through video conferencing, such an application shall be allowed by the learned Trial Judge at Doddaballapur.

7. With the above observation, following:
