Pursuant to order dated 28.07.2025, respondent, the Treasury Officer, Beerwah, is present in person. 2. The petitioners have alleged non-compliance of order dated 22.04.2025 passed by this Court in SWP No. 1851/2009, whereby the following directions were issued: “7. This writ petition along with connected IAs is disposed of and respondents are directed to consider and appoint son of petitioner No.1 on any Class-IV post. Orders in this behalf be issued within two weeks from the date copy of this order is served. In the alternative, respondents are directed to assess and pay rent to the petitioners for use and occupation of their landed property from the date the same has been taken over from them till such time the acquisition proceedings are initiated for acquiring the land. It is further provided that in case land of the petitioners is not required for any public purpose, then possession thereof shall be handed over to them (petitioners). Respondents to initiate and conclude the process within three months from the date copy of this order is served on them.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that an amount of Rs. 27,72,000/- has been duly deposited in the account of the petitioners towards acquisition of the land. 4. Mr. Ilyas Nazir Laway, learned GA, submits that the order of the writ court dated 28.07.2025 stands complied with in letter and spirit. 5. In view of the above, proceedings in the present contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to challenge the quantum of compensation, if so advised. 6. Disposed of.
