Present application under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed to quash the order dated 17.6.2025 passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 10, Allahabad in complaint case No. 282 of 2023, whereby an application to correct the typing mistake in the name of the applicant has been dismissed. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the application has been filed by the applicant for correction of typing mistake (name of applicant) in the statement recorded under Section 200, Cr.P.C. It is further submitted that the applicant signed the statement by his name Prashant, but due to typing mistake, his name has been written as Siddharth Shankar. In view of the above facts and circumstances, there is no other matter for consideration between the parties except the aforesaid, due to reason hearing of the opposite party No. 2 is dispensed with. The present application is disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to correct the typing mistake in the name of the applicant in the statement recorded under Section 200, Cr.P.C. as Prashant in place of Siddharth Shankar.
