The petitioner is a social activist and belong to a particular political party, while being so, petitioner lodged a complaint with regard to escalating issue of unregulated alcohol establishments in Pattabiram locality and thereafter the unregulated alcohol sale has been stopped. Further, the petitioner also submitted a representation to the District Collector, Tiruvallur to stop the Establishment of an Alcohol Bar in vicinity of 563, CTH Road, Ethiki Party Hall, Pattabiram as it is near to Thangamani School opposite to Perumal temple and thereafter, the Alchohol Bar was shut. Further, petitioner also lodged a complaint on 23.07.2025 for illegal sand mining in pattabiram. Based on the complaint, the Inspector of Police, T9, Pattabiram Police has registered an FIR in Crime no.321 of 2025 as against the accused. In pursuant to the same, petitioner faced threat at the hands of the counter parties. Therefore, petitioner lodged a complaint seeking police protection to him and his family members. However, on perusal of records revealed that the petitioner did not lodge a complaint against the accused persons. The allegation of threat perception is devoid of merits. Further, on verification of available records, there is no such threat to the petitioner from any persons is alleged by the petitioner. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be considered and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
