Petitioner’s father is a under-trial prisoner in pursuant to the FIR registered in Crime No.21 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 8(c), 22(c), 25, 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. He is undergoing continuous treatment for his throat cancer. Therefore, petitioner seeks permission to treat his father in a private hospital or at Adyar Cancer Institute. 3. It is seen from the report of the Medical officer, Central Prison -1, Chennai dated 07.11.2025, petitioner’s health condition is stable. In view of the above, first respondent is directed to provide adequate treatment to the petitioner at Adyar Cancer Institute, Chenni for his throat condition subject to his present health condition. 5.
