The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.143 of 2024 arising out of Jari P.S. Case No. 01 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 302 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. On 03.02.2024, the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the husband of the informant namely Ravi Bara by lathi due to which he succumbed to his injury. The petitioner is the main assailant of the deceased. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
