1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents for early disposal of the appeal filed by respondent No. 4 which is pending before the SDO (Revenue), Baikunthpur. By the said appeal the
order of Tehsildar dated 10.05.2022 passed in Revenue Case No. 202101011500090-B-121/2021-22 is under challenge.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner by referring the order sheet of the appeal filed by respondent No. 4 before the SDO (Revenue) submits that the SDO (Revenue) has heard the matter and fixed the matter for final orders on 19.06.2023, but till date no final order has been passed. He further prays that the SDO (Revenue) be directed to pass the final order in appeal No. 202205011300042/B-121 filed by the respondent No. 4.
3. Learned State counsel would submit that it appears from the order sheet that the Collector has heard the matter finally and the proceedings of the appeal will be concluded within a stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and and perused the documents.
5. Further looking to the submission made by the State counsel and considering the facts of the case, the SDO (Revenue) is directed to pass final order in the appeal No. 202205011300042/B-121 filed by the respondent No. 4 within a period of twenty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the SDO (Revenue) about the order of this court.
7. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. Sd/-
