Ms. Ishita Negi, Advocate for Mr. Namit Gautam, Advocate for the respondent No.2. *** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 428 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of the impugned FIR No.57 dated 26.03.2024 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC at Police Station Division No.6, Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana City and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 27.08.2024 as Annexure P-2 arrived at between the parties as the continuation of the same would not be conducive in the larger interest of social amity and peace. Since, as per the report dated 23.04.2025 received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, complainant did not come for recording of his statement on 16.04.2025, the day on which petitioner-Kuldeep Kumar recorded his statement and placed on record the photocopy of receipt vide which he has deposited the cost.
