Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:143853 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 11998 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Meena Devi Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Pankaj Satsangi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. Heard Sri Pankaj Satsangi, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Petitioner's mother-in-law died in the year 2016 and later on her husband also died. After death of her mother-in-law, neither the petitioner's deceased husband nor petitioner herself has tried to claim her post retiral benefits. 3. At this stage, Court is not much convinced as to whether petitioner has a legitimate claim on terminal benefits due to death of her mother-in-law occured wayback in the year 2016 when her husband has also not taken any steps in this regard and now for the first time, after death of her husband (date is not disclosed), she has made an application for claiming terminal benefits of her mother-in-law. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not able to show any legal provision in support her claim, still considering that decision has to be taken by the respondents and since no counsel is appointed by the Nagar Panchayat, District-Buduan, therefore, only in the interest of justice, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned respondent who will look into the matter and will take a reasoned decision in accordance with law on basis of facts as well as on law.
