1. Heard Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Amit Verma, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for the respondent No.1/State.
2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking following prayers:-
“It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and quash criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioners in criminal case no. 1029/2015 pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Sakti, District-Janjgir- Champa (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 384 of Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Loan Act on the basis of compromise settled between the parties, in the interest of justice accordingly.”
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the present petition
3 has become infructuous as a settlement/compromise has been arrived at between the parties.
