AJITH VISWANATHAN THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 02.04.2025, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: 2025:KER:28108 WP(C) NO. 38980 OF 2024 3 Dated this the 2nd day of April, 2025 JUDGMENT The writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to afford adequate police protection to the petitioner from the threats being caused by the 6th respondent. 2. When the writ petition came up for consideration on 06.11.2024, this Court directed the 5th respondent to ensure that law and order is maintained in the petitioner's locality from the threats being caused by the 6th respondent, but without interfering in any civil dispute between the parties. 3. Heard; the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the 6th respondent. 4. On a consideration of the facts and materials on record, particularly that there is a civil suit pending between the parties before the Court of Munsiff, I am of 2025:KER:28108 WP(C) NO. 38980 OF 2024 4 the view that the interim order dated 6.11.2024 is to be made absolute. In the said circumstances, I dispose of the writ petition, by directing the 5th respondent to ensure that law and order is maintained in the petitioner's locality without interfering in any civil dispute between the parties. The writ petition is ordered accordingly.
