The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the electric poles were installed in the petitioner's land in Survey No.13/1 and to remove the same, the petitioner made representations to the respondents and the same was not considered, hence the present Writ Petition. 3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the electric poles, which were installed in the petitioner's land will be removed safely and electricity connections will be provided to all the persons, if this Court directs for a police protection for safe removal of the electric poles. 4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 33223 of 2025 following directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (i) The respondents are directed to remove the electric poles safely, which were erected in the petitioner's land and continue to provide electricity connection which was given in the said poles. (ii) The petitioner is directed to pay the cost of shifting of electric poles, as demanded by the Electricity Board.
