The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the following prayer:- "(I) Issue any other writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to rectify and remove the name of the 182 wrongly resulted voters from Gram Panchayat Shekhpur, Muzhahidpur and inclusion they no Rajswa Gram Muzaffrabad." 2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court instructions dated 10.09.2025 under the signatures of respondent no. 2/District Magistrate, Saharanpur, the same is taken on record. 3. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that as per the notification issued by the State Election Commission, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow dated 18.07.2025 and the public notice issued by the District Election Officer (Panchayat and Urban Bodies), Saharanpur, the process of addition, amendment and deletion of electoral rolls of Gram Panchayats is in process, under which the names will be deleted and amended in the list of the concerned Gram Panchayats by conducting an inquiry within the time period mentioned in the notification issued on the application of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025 for adding 182 voters in revenue village Muzaffarabad to the voter list of Gram Panchayat Muzaffarabad and cancelling them from Gram Panchayat Shekhupur Mujahidpur, following the procedure at the competent level as per rules. It is argued by the counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 4 that for the revision of name in the electoral roll the petitioner/applicant should submit a proper application as per Rule 9 and 10 of the U.P. Panchayat Raj (Registration of Electoral) Rules, 1994. 5. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record. 6. In this view of the matter the present petition is finally disposed of permitting the petitioner to move a proper application as per the procedure prescribed under Rule 9 and 10 of the Rules, 1994. Needless to say that in case the said application is filed necessary decision be taken in the matter expeditiously as per schedule published by the respondent no. 2 dated 18th July, 2025.
