The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 50 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 05 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau. 3. On 28.01.2025, at about 12:20 p.m., Daltonganj Town Police apprehended the petitioner alongwith two other accused persons from a place near Railway Station New Bhawan, Daltonganj. On search, about 8.00 kgs of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. 4. Mr. Abhay Kr Chaturvedy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at Paragraph- 17 of this Bail Application. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 50 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 05 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
