The petitioner- Biju Munda is in custody since 21.01.2023 in connection with Chouparan P.S. Case No. 20 of 2023 for the offence registered under Sections 385/ 387 of the I.P.C. and Section 17 of CLA Act, pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribagh. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected vide order dated 02.08.2024 with an observation to conclude the trial preferably within six months. It is submitted by learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that more than six months have elapsed, but till date only two witnesses have been examined. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
