The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to respondent No. 2 to issue passport in favour of the petitioner in light of her application dated 14.01.2025. 2. Specific case of the petitioner is that in one criminal case bearing FIR No. 2197 of 2019, wherein, she was accused under Section 323 IPC, the summoning order and the proceedings of the case have been quashed by order dated 02.06.2022 passed by this Court in Criminal Misc. Application U/S 482 No. 13471 of 2022. The said fact was brought to the knowledge of the Regional Passport Officer by means of a representation dated 05.05.2025 but no decision has been taken in the matter so far. 4. Shri Devendra Gupta, Advocate has appeared on behalf of respondents No. 1 & 2. He states that the application would be considered and decided in the light of the representation of the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 to take decision on the application of the petitioner for issuance of passport within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the previous representation dated 05.05.2025 and copy of the order dated 02.06.2022 passed in Criminal Misc.
