This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in withholding the payment of bills 1st and Final bill for amount of Rs.4,87,669/- (Gross) and Rs.4,29,785/- (Net amount), even after finalizing the bills payable to the petitioner in relation to the work i.e., providing C.C. road from Sathya Narayana Swamy Temple to D.No.17/46-A-2 in Nayi Brahmin Colony at Ramapuram, Ward No.18 in Rayachoty Municipality vide Agreement No.529/2023- 24, dated 11.12.2023. 3. As per the Petitioner, the above mentioned work was completed as per the agreement and entries were made in M.Book. In spite of the same, the amounts are not being paid. 4. At the time of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel passed on the written instructions signed by the Commissioner, Rayachoty Municipality, Rayachoty. In the written instructions it was mentioned that the work was completed in the time specified and that the amounts payable to the Petitioner were also admitted. As the amounts are not available under the head of GGMP, the Respondent 3 authorities would not make payment to the Petitioner immediately and it was further mentioned that the amounts will be paid on sanction of funds. 5. Considering the fact that the work was executed and the amounts are admitted, the Respondent authorities are directed to pay amounts due to the Petitioner within a period of four (4) months from today. The written instructions are placed on record. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
