He further submits that about 25 Bighas also to cultivate the said land. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 24.01.2024/25.01.2024 passed by the learned Judge, Special Court, Patiala, the petitioner was convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay fine of Rs.1,00,000/- under Section 22 of the NDPS Act, in case FIR No.62 dated 15.07.2018, registered under Sections of the NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Bhadson, District Patiala, and against the order of his conviction and sentence, he preferred an appeal bearing CRA 2024 before this Court, which is pending adjudication. He further submits that father of the petitioner is an old age person and he is also having Bighas of land and there is no one to look after his ailing father and also to cultivate the said land.
