Prayer in the present petition is for prohibiting the respondents from directing the petitioners to do excess over time beyond a period of 48 hours in a working week as per the law alongwith a further prayer for directing the respondents to give work charge only for a period of 48 hours in a working week and access to all public holidays which are admissible as per the Government notifications issued from time to time. 2. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with regard to the grievance, the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 20.01.2025 (Annexure P-1) but no action has been taken thereupon till date. He contends that the petitioners would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.6-Block Development & Panchayat Officer, Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar is directed to consider and decide the said representation, in a time bound manner in accordance with law.
