Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondent no.1 and Shri Narendra Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the respondents no.2, 3 and 4. 2. The present petition has been has filed with the following prayer: "a. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass legal and speaking order on the applications dated 24.07.2025 and 25.07.2025 expeditiously within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. b. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to disconnect the old Electricity Connection No.7404100100 dated 12.12.2014 and not charge the electricity bill of the old connection of electricity from the petitioner." 3. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that for redressal of his grievance the petitioner has moved a representation dated 25.07.2025 but till date the same not been decided. It is further submitted that a direction be issued to the respondent no.2-Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution, Gauhaniya Division EDD Yamunapar, Prayagraj, District Prayagraj to decide the same at the earliest. 4. Shri Narendra Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the respondents no.2, 3 and 4 submitted that the representation of the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ashwani Tripathi, Deepak Kashinath Dubey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Subhash Chandra Dwivedi .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) petitioner dated 25.07.2025 shall be decided at the earliest in accordance with law. 5. Accordingly, present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution, Gauhaniya Division EDD Yamunapar, Prayagraj, District Prayagraj to take a decision upon the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2025 maximum within a period of thee weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case of the petitioner on merits. It is upon respondent No. 2 to pass order after considering the relevant Rules as well as facts of the case.
