Petitioner is serving as Lecturer (Physics) in Secondary Education Department of the State. He was transferred from Government Inter College, Bhimawala, Dehradun to Government Inter College Khalyunkhet, Nainidanda, District Pauri Garhwal, vide order dated 26.06.2023. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner approached this Court by filing this writ petition. 4. Coordinate Bench, vide order dated 11.07.2023 passed an interim order in favour of the petitioner. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner served for more than thirteen years at sugam places, therefore, as per provisions of the Transfer Act, he was liable to be transferred to a durgam place, and accordingly, he was transferred from Dehradun to District Pauri Garhwal. He, however, submits that if petitioner has any 2025:UHC:8881 grievance, then he should have first approached the competent authority, instead of rushing to this Court. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Regional Additional Director, Pauri. If he makes representation within one week from today, the Regional Additional Director shall take decision thereupon within three weeks thereafter. 7. For a period of four weeks or till decision is taken, whichever is earlier, status quo qua petitioner’s posting shall be maintained.
