The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with R.C.-05(A)/2012-AHD-R of 2012, registered for the offences under Sections 420, 423, 424, 467, 468, 469, 471, 477-A, 120-B, 109 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Sections 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi. 3. Mr. Manoj Prasad, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has appeared in the examination conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission in the year 2003 and only allegation levelled against this petitioner is that he has been provided 06 extra marks by the interview board. He submits that now the chargesheet has already been submitted and in view that the petitioner may kindly be provided the privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Mr. D.K. Bharti, learned Spl.P.P. appearing for the CBI has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there against the petitioner of obtaining arbitrary 06 more marks in the examination [2025:JHHC:22139] -2- conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission from the interview board. 5. Considering that the chargesheet has already been submitted and during investigation, it appears that the petitioner has co-operated in the investigation that’s why the CBI has not arrested her and only allegation is there against the petitioner of obtaining 06 more marks from the interview board, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of her surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner- cum-Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C.-05(A)/2012- AHD-R of 2012, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
