He was transferred vide order dated 26.6.2023 from GIC, Khurbura, Dehradun to GIC, Baherakhal, Kot, Pauri. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, he filed this writ petition. (3) Learned State Counsel defends the transfer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner served at Sugam places for more than 16 years and he had served for only 11 months in Durgam places, therefore, as per the Transfer Act, he was liable to be transferred to a Durgam place. He further submits that no interim order was passed in favour of petitioner, therefore he must have joined at the transferred place. (4) This Court finds substance in the submission of learned State Counsel. Transfer is an incidence of service and petitioner has been transferred as per the applicable provisions of the Transfer Act. There is no allegation of ill will or malice. (5) Thus the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
