This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.2 i.e. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Phoolpur Prayagraj to decide the Appeal No.2 of 2020 (Navlakkhi Devi Vs. Lalmani & Others) filed by the petitioner under section 207 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 pending before him since 12.02.2020 with regard to mutation proceeding within time bound frame." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that proceedings under Section 207 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 are pending consideration before respondent no.2 since 2020. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for a counter affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of requiring the respondent no.2 to take a final decision on the said appeal positively within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all the affected parties. 4.
