The Court made the following: ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer:
“…..to issue a writ, order or direction, more in the nature of writ of mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, declaring the Notification No.E1/FRN-9/2017 dated14.10.2017 issued by the 1st respondent for making appointments to the post of Professor, without implementing rule of reservation and without earmarking 33 1/3 percent in favor of women candidates, as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, malafide contrary to GO Ms.No.456 Education (UE-I.1) Department dated 21.12.1995 and G.O.Ms.No.40 Dated 25.07.2016, apart from being ultra vires to Rule 22 of A.P. State and Subordinate Rules, violating Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India contrary to instructions issued in Circular No.16076/UE.I/A2/2012-3 Dated 09.04.2017 including the principle of law and laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court reported in 2007 (8) SCC 785 and set aside the same, and pass….”

Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that in the light of the orders passed in W.P.No.23770 of 2017 and batch by the coordinate bench of this Court, no further orders are required to be passed in this matter. 3. Despite the matter is being listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’, none represented for the petitioners. 4. Since the petitioners are not evincing any interest to prosecute the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non- prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
