Petitioner is able to show that despite he being at Serial No.185 in the Seniority List, he was not promoted, whereas his Senior as well as his Junior are being promoted and since no reason has been communicated to the petitioner, therefore, he has submitted a representation which is still pending. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that there must be some legal impediment that petitioner was not considered for promotion and same will be informed to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection against the aforesaid prayer. 5. In the aforesaid circumstances, taking note of assurance given by learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a further observation that if petitioner submits a detailed representation within a period of two weeks along with a copy of this writ petition, a reasoned decision will be taken by the respondents which will be communicated to the petitioner within a short period.
