Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Lohsinghna P.S. Case No. 102/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 379, 380, 406, 407 & 417 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of Miss Avanika Gautam, learned A.C.J.M., Hazaribagh. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.7915 of 2024 by order dated 16.12.2024 The petitioner is alleged to have committed theft in the shop of the informant, where he was working. It appears that diamond and gold jewelleries worth rupees 17,53,223/- were stolen. It further appears that some of the stolen jewelleries were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2024. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after four months.
