Petitioner has approached this Court that his application for compassionate appointment filed after death of his father who died in harness is still pending and no final decision has been taken. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case no decision has been taken till date and in case there is no legal impediment, claim of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law taking note of judgments passed by Supreme Court in Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. & Ors. Vs. Anushree K.B., 2022 SCC Online SC 1331 and Malaya Nanda Sethy Vs. State of Orissa & Ors, 2022 SCC Online SC 684 and in case of any legal impediment, same will be conveyed to the petitioner as early as possible. 4. In the aforesaid circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that claim of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law taking note of judgments passed by Supreme Court in Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. & Ors.
